Israel was going to false “gods” for provision, pleasure, victory, control, and stability. Can you relate? We may not be tempted to serve these “gods”, but are we looking to anything other than Christ to meet our spiritual needs? This passage challenges us to ask: are we seeking God Himself, or just relief from our circumstances?

King Jesus still pursues us in our confusion, speaks truth to bring clarity, reveals Himself in relationship, opens blind eyes, and sends us out with purpose. The question is: what will you do with the risen King?
