Lookout Valley Baptist Church is a family of forgiven sinners who seek to magnify the glory of Jesus by multiplying disciples who make known the gospel to our neighbors and nations. Our prayer is for you to know the blessing, strength, and hope found in Jesus Christ and that you will live a life of abundance in his fellowship, joy, and liberty. You belong at LVBC! OUR HISTORY 

 
Founded in 1928, as “The West Chattanooga Baptist Church,” the church worshiped together at the Patton Chapel Community Church. In 1932, the church began building their own place of worship and officially changed the name to Lookout Valley Baptist Church.

Vacation Bible School July 7-11 @ 6-9pm

 
At Breaker Rock Beach, kids will learn to recognize the difference between what the world says is true and what God says is true.
 
They’ll encounter five everyday sayings that sound right, but dangerously miss the truth found in God’s Word.
 
Each day kids will be challenged to know that
God’s truth never changes—even when it’s radically different from what some people say.
 
They’ll discover that God does not want them to be conformed to this age, but to be transformed by the renewing of their minds so that they can discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of
God (Romans 12:2).
 
 

 MINISTRIES

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of
the most important values of LVBC is our mission to the world. It 
begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation.
 

WORSHIP MINISTRY

Our corporate gatherings are designed for people to connect personally with God. Our leadership works diligently to pray, plan, and prepare to lead our church in its highest priority — worshiping God.

LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups are communities that encourage one another towards Christian maturity by studying scriptures, sharing life, and
serving others together.

MISSIONS

Here at LVBC, we seek to make
disciples of all nations, equipping and encouraging our members in the Great Commission, so they might go forth boldly, sharing the Gospel of Christ. 

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Our children’s ministry is staffed by qualified and caring childcare professionals and volunteers from our church family. We consider it an honor and privilege to partner with parents in raising up the next generation for Jesus Christ.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Our mission is for students to recognize, know, and 
follow Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. We strive
to equip students through preaching the Bible and
teaching them how to personally study God’s Word. 
Our heart is to come alongside families and partner
with them in accomplishing the role God gave them.
